okay seriously. i had an elaborate journal entry for y'all...but i got the Blue Screen of Death...TWICE. FAIL.

so to paraphrase...again...I'M SO SORRY FOR NOT UPDATING AS MUCH AS I SHOULD BE! with work and freelance on the side, i barely have time to paint anymore. i'll make it a New Year's Resolution to start up again aight?

as some of you already know, Princess Jasmine has been hijacked HERE. but don't fret, i've already reported it. i just wanted to thank my fellow deviants for coming to my rescue! it's funny because i haven't logged onto my account in months and the one time i do...i find out all this happens...haha!

anyway...while i'm not painting, i'm making video game trailers. you could check them out here if you're interested: Atlus USA. we just released TWO naruto games so go grab a copy and help support my paycheck! oh...and this is not a shameless plug. I REPEAT. this is NOT a shameless plug....ish.

it's been about seven months since i last posted an entry and i truly apologize for that. a LOT has happened from then til now and i must share them with you.


number one: i'm a born again gamer, thanks to my new job



yes indeedy. the last time i was devoted to playing video games was when i was in elementary school, obsessed with pokemon, street fighter, and dance dance revolution.

now that i'm a video editor for Atlus USA, it's required that i brush up on the games we publish.
(my first day at work, they made me play for hours as research. true story)

it's quite an awesome job. great games, great coworkers, and just an overall great environment. and just recently, i participated in my very first modeling gig (see below). whatever helps promote our games i'll do it...plus the fact that i'm a camera whore and any opportunity to get my face out there i'll take.


is that tiger woods sporting a junpei hat?! nah...it's just some douche living in his five minutes of internet fame...

there's gotta be some Persona fans here on deviantArt right? yes? no? hmm...




just recently we released 3D Dot Game Heroes for the PS3. if you love old school 8-bit games and/or are a zelda fan, pick this game up! it's only 40 bucks! check out the trailer here: courtesy of yours truly

number two: i forgot how much of a pain moving is...

i said goodbye to huntington beach, the city that reminded me most of back home (hawaii) and now i've moved to foothill ranch with my buddy and her awesome (albeit sometimes not quite right in the head) fishes. it's a little more expensive, but totally worth it. as long as our new neighbors upstairs don't have kids...or have loud sex...or play DDR...i'm good.

apparently my ideal upstairs neighbors would be a retired couple. then again...they could still be horny little bastards. get that image out of your head.

number three: great...another photographer trying to make it big...

a fellow friend and i started our own photography company. it started off as a hobby, then ended up as a business. our fist gig was for our friend's wedding, which was AWESOME. you can view some pics of the wedding here: the shameless promotion continues...

aside from what's going on...i just wanted to say thanks to all those who added me to their watch list. it's nice to know that there are peeps who like my work. i promise to upload some new stuff as soon as possible

i'm having a case of artist's block. i need ideas, inspiration, color themes, something that can help me get back to painting!
